Nam kaeng sai is very popular during summer in Thailand due to the warm weather.  Nam kang sai is the shaved ice with a variety of toppings.  The dish consists of finely shaved ice in a bowl and topped with fruit and sweet toppings.  The toppings could be different kinds of fruits (palm seeds, sweetened pumpkin slices, basil seeds, and etc.), syrup, jelly, grass jelly, roasted peanut, black sticky rice.  Its presentation is very colorful.
